Queen of the Amazons, Milosa is preparing for war when her sister is killed in a raid, supposedly by their archenemies the Centaurs. Xena stands in as Gabrielle's champion when the bard asserts her Right of Caste, received from Milosa's dying sister. The warrior princess is victorious just in time to avert war and the unjustified execution of Phantes the Centaur as Terreis' murderer. Milosa is restored to power, only to be killed by the ambitious Velasca.
